Trunk or Treat

My mom's group held its annual trunk or treat event and as always it was a blast. Owen was Wolverine and Aiden well he was more difficult. I wanted him to be a tiger because he loves to roar, but returned that costume after he WOULD NOT wear it. Then we decided to get hulk hands that he loves to wear and growl and punch with, but he just doesn't want to wear them long. So he was cute in his Halloween shirt. For actual trick or treating going to try a farmer. We'll see.

Trunk or treat begins, we liked this one a lot.
Aiden was very unsure about the whole thing and INSISTED that Omer carry him. He did enjoy get to take and put things in his bucket. But did want to eat the them all right then.
As every year, Owen showed to be quick, persistent and polite. He had fun going around with several of his friends, but more he was all about the task at hand - getting treats!

All Aiden really wanted to do was visit the farm. He kept running off to see the animals.
Wolverine had the best time running around playing Super Heros with his friends.

Light Show

Omer got the boys fancy glow sticks and decided to show Owen his glow stick skills. They had fun playing with them in the dark.

Leaf Running 'n Rolling

One of the boys favorite activities right now is racing to a leaf pile and jumping and rolling in it. Every time it still makes me smile and the boys laugh.

Mean Old Witch

Owen really wanted me to be a princess for Halloween but not willing to actually buy something and sad to say no princess gear in my house. So I bought some stuff to be a witch. Owen was beyond excited because he has learned a new witch song at school. He loved for me to wear it but then also wanted to take a turn wearing it. He even sang the song. Then I wore it again and he got the cat mask to be my black cat.

"I'm a mean old witch with a hat.
I ride on a broom with a cat.
I have a pointy chin (nose)
And a pointy hat too.
You better be careful
Or I might scare you.
Tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe....BOO!"

Nursery Pumpkin Patch

The weather was beautiful and we wanted to have some family fun. I asked Owen if he wanted to go to the zoo or the pumpkin patch. He emphatically answered "Pumpkin Patch!". We went last year and had a great time, so we headed again over to Meadows Farm Nursery. And we surprised that they inlcuded a moon bounce this year - BIG hit. We spent over an hour at the small pumpkin patch and had a wonderful time...oh and its free. WooHoo!

The boys loved looking through all the different kinds of pumpkins. Owen loves goards and gathered quite a few. Aiden really enjoyed the haunted bus, went several times. Owen went once and did not return. They boy loved climbing on the hay and sliding, going through the tunnel, running through the pumpkin "maze" and of course bouncing. It was pumpkin perfection.

We of course had to try to get a pumpkin picture of both boys...
They never smile at the same time
At least they both look at the camera
