National Building Museum

One of my race's packet pick up was held at the National Building Museum; a museum we keep meaning to visit. So we decided to finally go. We got lucky that there is a special (year long) exhibit regarding Lego's. The boys had a blast but really spent over 1.5 in the Lego area and a little time in the kid play area.

After viewing the most spectacular Lego buildings ever (no pictures allowed), there is a back area with millions of bricks. Along with the building there is an area set up like a town which you can make something and place in the town.

He also made another building and I made a tree

Aiden wanted to build bumps for the roads

Then he made a house for a mouse; love the creativity

Aiden ended his building with a pumpkin

First Bionicle Built

Aiden loves Bionicle's now and has really become quite good at putting pieces together. It is so sweet to watch him learn and maneuver the pieces and try to build guys. Today he earned a Joker bionicle and he put the whole thing together by himself. I helped him understand the instructions and showed a couple times how pieces go, but the rest was all Aiden. We were all so impressed.

School Egg Hunt

The boy's school holds an Easter Egg Hunt and yes I was the one that organized the whole thing. I love watching all the kids excitedly gather eggs and meet the Easter Bunny. After school, I was walking the boys to the car and Owen said, "Mom thank you for holding the egg hunt!" That is also why I do it, I love how much my kids appreciate all I do for them and the school. A wonderful first Easter Egg Hunt

Singing Aiden

Aiden loves to sing and I love to listen to his sweet little voice. Today while we were playing play-doh he just kept singing some of his favorite songs. I had to pull the camera out and try to capture the cutest. He likes singing "Frosty" which added in "Give a Dog a Bone", "God Bless America" and "ABC's".
