To Catch a Star

The boys love this book about a lady that goes to a lot of trouble to catch a star for her son. Well tonight after we all watched the stars out in the hammock, Owen decided he wanted to build a rocket ship to go and catch a star.

This is completely Owen's design and creation. Aiden helped tape.

Owen went to get candles. Why, I asked. "These are the rocket boosters," he explained

Then the boys colored it.

Owen drew a man on the wing surfing.

Then it was time to take-off into space.

I remembered we had some glow sticks, so I surprised him with one in a jar.

They loved it!

Then they proceeded to make all the sticks glow and shove them in the jar.
