Owen & Owen Sleepover

Owen was excited to have a sleepover with one of his best buddies, Owen C. This was OC's first sleep over ever so we made sure he was comfortable. They had a blast. Hung out in the spaceship for a little and played legos (big surprise) and then climbed in bed to finally go to sleep close to 10. His family came over later in the morning and the Owen's did not want to part so kept playing until lunch. They were so cute and had a great sleepover. 

 

 

 

 

Spaceship

Owen's class made a huge spaceship during their space lessons. His teacher let us have it when we came to set-up for the teacher luncheon. Perks of being PPA chair. He really wanted it in his room. He put all his stuff in and even slept in there the first night. It was so cute!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

Jungle Pups

We went to check up on our froglets and there is high grass there. Chester got hot and decided to lay right in the grass. He just looked so cute all hidden in the grass. Callie just chose to eat the grass. 

 

 

 

SUMMER!

All excited for the laziness of summer. No schedule, no school and just fun! PJs and popsicles...this probably was around 11 in the morning. 

 

 

Two Thumbs Up

Owen had a drop off party so I thought that Aiden and I would have a little date. I needed to return something at the mall, so we went there and he had fun picking out a new swimsuit. Then rode the carousel and had a dinner date. He chose a steak n cheese. I was happy because I can not remember the last time I had one. We shared one and he devoured it, licked his lips and then gave it two thumbs up. Adorable!

 

First Day at the Pool

We have been waiting for the pool to open for months. Seriously counting down the days. Super stoked when the first weekend it was open was super hot. We had a blast and have been every day until it cooled down this week. Love my water boys. Owen jumped right back in and can actually swim all the way across the pool in the main area. Aiden was more hesitant at first but seriously almost right back to where he was last year after minutes of jumping in. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Racing Boys

I had a local 10k race benefitting the fire department. I asked the boys and they wanted to do the kids run, a .911 mile run. Sadly they start it right after the main so I did not get to do it but Omer ran with them. They loved the fire trucks and firefighters cheering for them. Owen took off and ran the .911 mile in around 10:30. Super proud of him and his time. Aiden did awesome for his age. He ran about half of it, needed some help and then Owen came back and finished it with him. Love my little running boys. They were proud to receive a medal. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Honey Bear Goodbyes

I have been so happy with the bonds that my boys have made this year in each of their classes. After Owen's last day of preschool about half of his class met at the playground for a picnic and play. 

 

 

End of the Year Musical

The boys had their end of the year musical and I had mixed feelings about this. Of course I was so excited to see both boys perform and after Aiden not making it on stage for the Christmas musical I was super excited to see him up on stage this time. I also really wanted to see both my boys on the stage together for the first and last time. This is where I get a little sad; this means Owen's last time on his preschool's stage and class. Don't get me wrong I am excited for his new journey in the fall to Kindergarten but I am also sad to say goodbye to his preschool life. 

The musical was super cute as always. Aiden did his song and even participated some on the group songs. However, he does like the super loudness so he covered his ears quite often when it got too loud. 

Owen did a wonderful job and sang out loud and with gusto and a little seriousness; he did not want to mess up his moves. They sang two songs and then loud and proud for the group songs. We will cherish these little moments in our kid's lives.

I am having problems loading videos so hopefully I will figure it out and post them another time.
