We have been having a wonderful October; enjoying the Fall weather with some warm days, the views, the pumpkins, Halloween galore, baseball, school functions and more.
These were taken by Aiden's teachers. It is always fun to see a little bit of his day.
Owen has enjoyed his Fall tball/coach pitch team. We had our last game and practice this week. Owen has learned a lot about the game and is a great outfielder. Not the best batter but he was able to successful hit off the coach a couple times. The coach put together a last practice picnic where we had a parents vs kids game. It was a great time!
Sure you all have noticed that Owen has wanted to keep growing his hair out. Today I thought we would try a mohawk. He loved it! Thought he was the coolest kid. However, we did not have super strong gel to keep that super long hair up.
Our good friend was gone for a long time and we got the pleasure of picking up Addie from school every Tuesday. We wanted to make it fun and one day went to a playground. The kids had so much fun!
The boys made shadow boxes one evening. Not really sure how it started but they built them for over an hour. Loved their creations.
The boys have loved all the new Halloween decorations
We took down the Haunted House and moved our decorations back to the front yard. Aiden had to dress for the part in our mummy costume. Owen at the end brought out the Halloween treasure chest with bags and signs because he wanted to sell some toys and treats.
While Owen is in school Aiden does get lonely and wants more play dates. Today we had Sadie over and they had the best time.
As always Aiden and I draw a lot of chalk creations. They always include Halloween monsters and a Haunted House. I am impressed with his chalk skills

I chaperoned Owen's first school field trip. We went to Pumpkinville. Let me say the kids had an awesome time. It was a lot of work for me but well worth it to get to be with him on his first field trip. And being walkers this was his first bus ride; I think that was one of his favorite parts.
The boys and I carved their small pumpkins. They drew the faces and I did most of the carving. However Owen carved his eyes and nose all himself.
We have been loving all the color. Owen and I took the pups on a walk while he biked.
