A Little Snow - A Lot of Fun

The boys and I have been waiting and waiting for some snow, yet still we have not gotten much. We woke up to about an inch and they were so excited to get even a little snow. They made angels, ate the white stuff and yes we went sledding. With the disappointment of still not enough to build a snowman we were determined to at least sled. The sledding was so much fun. They enjoyed going down together and Owen wanted to carry the sled back up. It was a fun snowy morning.

And Here is January

So obviously you are finding out that this blog has totally taken the back burner. With the kids more active and no rest time, this is the one of the things that I have let slide. I am just busy with much more important and fun stuff for me....no offense, kids when you read this.

Well here is the pictures I have snagged from January...finally. And fair warning I will stop blogging on after Aiden's 4th birthday.

The boys wanted to create Lego creations to submit to the Lego Club magazine. Here are Aiden's...Pumpkin Car

Skeleton Jet

Witch Plane

Owen made a bowl of grapes and a carrot. He wanted Beardy to pose with his instead.

Beardy thought they looked real and tasty

We love when Beardy hits up and opens his mouth

One day I had two dinosaurs wrestling in my house. The pictures are a tad blurry...oops

No worries, Aiden was laughing as Owen tackled and rode him

GRRRRR

Owen looks like a swamp monster instead with the blur

And of course Aiden tackles Owen down too

Owen really likes to play in his room so he can be with Beardy. Beardy enjoys the company and entertainment. The boys decided to build a huge scene with Playmobil today.

Big news of the month and both boys made huge leaps on their wheels. Owen could have taken his training wheels off months ago but we all know he is a little timid and felt more comfortable with them still on. They were so high they barely ever touched, but it was piece of mind. He came home one day and told me he wanted them off. Never looked back and with the bike being how he gets to school and wanted to make sure he was good with the starting up. Well he has had no problem....went right into it like he had been for years. He and us were are very proud of him and wow is he much faster now.

Aiden has also made a huge leap and started really riding his big wheel. He has not much enjoyed any tricycle or bike option until this one. He loves to go down hills and will give a gleeful "WHEEEEE". Both boys biked to the playground, which is a first for Aiden.

Both boys love to draw and create pictures. I wanted to post a couple of the recent and my favorites. Aiden drew a monster eating angry birds.

This is Aiden's AtAt with star wars angry birds

This is by far my favorite picture Owen has drawn. It is REALLY good. Koala on a Tree

Owen's Gingerbread Man and House

Owen's Star Wars Angry Bird

Owen's Love for Beardy

Owen's Night Owl

Aiden's Christmas Mouse

Aiden has never been as much of a stuffie lover as Owen but he definitely has his favorites. One night he snuggled up with all his favorites for the night. Adorable

Glowing Puppy Eyes Sleeping in Owen's Bed

This hair cracked up up all day. Aiden the Peacock

It was sunny and warm, so while Owen was in school, Aiden and I went out to play on the pirate ship. Our game was decorated the net with spiders, then he would take his small net and catch the spiders, then feed them to the crocodile.

This month has been A LOT of Legos. Every day and like this Saturday morning, all morning. We build a lot of cool creations.

Aiden decided to surf on the Lego's instead

Owen decided he wanted to build a model of this Star Wars ship.

Omer was sent by Aiden to build a skeleton motorcycle

This is Owen's finished Star Wars ship.....I was VERY impressed

The boys have been asking to go to a paint your own pottery place. Well I finally took them after school one day. They were so excited and had an awesome time. Aiden painted a skull bank and a monster face cup and Owen painted a dinosaur bank and a food dish for Beardy (loved this).
