Snow for Halloween

Yes it snowed today, two days before Halloween. The leaves are still on the trees, some changed colored but many still green. My gardens are still full of blooms. And we were wearing short sleeve shirts earlier in the week. But yes it snowed all day long. It was very crazy but a ton of fun.
When the boys woke up and saw the snow falling, Owen announced "They got it wrong, it's not Halloween, it's Christmas." Then the boys went on to wearing Santa hats talking about winter and Christmas decorations and then of course I searched for our snow gear and we playing in the icy, slushy white stuff. I would say we probably totaled an inch but lots melted as it fell while a dusting actually stuck. At one point there were huge flakes falling fast; it was pretty amazing.

Owen was serious about riding the horse
Then we went through our winter gear and Owen was convinced he still could fit his favorite beaver hat from many years before.
Then out we went!

This was our first experience with Callie and snow. She loved it! More energy than normal.

Dancing around as it fell on us.
Aiden dropped down to make a snow angel. Too funny!
Owen wanted to make one too but didn't want to lay all the way down.
The snow started to stick more and more

Work Halloween Party

We headed to Omer's work for a Halloween party, albeit very late for us. The boys had a good time. They played with balloons, pretended to have a spooky house, danced in the mirrors, played hide and sneak, played with the spiders, and of course trick or treated. Love Halloween!
