This past year we have seen Owen's coloring, drawing and writing really grow. We have been amazed how quickly he has started to develop these skills. He loves to do them all now and I love all his creations. Today he sat and colored for an hour in his lizard coloring book and I was shocked at how amazing he did.

First Birthday Present
Grandma and Grandpa sent Aiden his birthday gift, and I decided to let him open it now. He was so excited to find Scooby sheets. He cuddled and played in them, and then insisted I change his sheets now.

My Little Helper
Usually Aiden will help dust and sweep but never vacuum, but today he REALLY wanted to try. He was so into it that he didn't want to stop. He was a great little helper.

Happy Valentine's Day
The boys had a wonderful Valentine's Day and felt and gave a lot of love. We surprised them in the morning with two squishable's; a blowfish and an owl. And of course a little candy. They were so excited. They named their new animals, but of course I couldn't help see the humor in what we got....Hootie and the Blowfish!

Happy Boys
After they both went to school and celebrated with valentine's and a party, they came back and were so excited to open up their mailboxes. Monday, February 13, 2012
Making Herself Comfy
When Omer is not in the room Callie likes to sleep in his spot, even on his pillow. She is quite cute and comfy. Poor Omer's pillow.

World by Owen
For Christmas, the boys received three little baby stuffed animals that we adopted for them. Well today Owen came up with a grand plan to take the bamboo stick he found in the woods, an old topiary tree of mine and make a jungle for them. He taped fallen leaves on the bamboo and I helped tie it all together.
He propped it up in the corner of his room and then the boys put their animals on and around the tree.
Then later in the day, during rest time, Owen was in his room for 45 minutes and came out having created the World by Owen. I love when he does these things in his room. I Love Aiden
Owen has been really working on his writing, which I love to see. He often brings home something for one the family members from their free writing station. Today he brought a Valentine for Aiden. How sweet!!

Lukewarm Chocolate Milk
It has become tradition this year after the boys play in the snow they come in and ask for hot chocolate. Which really means they want lukewarm chocolate milk with lots of marshmallows.
Then as always they became my two silly little boys that make me laugh.
