Neither
Omer nor I have ever been to DC to view the cherry blossoms. Our friend was meeting there to hang out in DC for his birthday so we took the opportunity to finally go see what all the fuss was about. Well the weather was perfect, the trees were in bloom and everyone and their sister, mother, brother and father came on Easter weekend to see the trees. It was crowded! So our take, the trees were beautiful but we were both expecting more. Not sure what, just something. The kids really could have cared less. But they enjoyed looking in the water and running around. I can imagine it'll be nice to go when the kids are older and we can spend a lot of time there. But now we can say we've been and it was fun running around among all the pink petals. They also make for some great pictures.
