Our Own Lake

After lunch we watched the county flush the fire hydrant which created two wonderful puddles in front of our house. Owen quickly looked at me and asked, "Mom, can we please go splash in the puddles?" Of course! The boys had a wonderful time, and Owen said that they were our own lakes. Then he told me we had to pretend that the rocks were shells, and collect them. At first Aiden was hesitent to go in and then Owen started to run and splash him (listen for the Aiden giggles), which got Aiden to start running through the puddles and play ball. You will also see Owen to continue to run to the edge of the puddle, he was making the water into a wave to creat a river. Oh to be a kid again and just splash in two puddles for seriously an hour.

Also Owen found seriously the largest worm I have ever seen. He pulled it out of the puddle and was very proud of himself. The thing was the size of a baby snake, no joke.
