Christmas Tree Adventure

We wanted to do something different this year and decided to go to Ticonderoga Farms for their festival and to cut down our tree. It was such a wonderful time and definitely will be returning next year.

Boys Found Frosty
We were hoping that this would also be our Santa visit but sadly the Santa was not all that ideal and the Owen was pretty shy about it. First year this has happened.
Owen quietly told Santa what he wanted.
Candy Canes won them over.
Boys with Santa
Owen loved the real teepee
Even with Owen coaxing him, Aiden did not want to come in.
We had fun sitting on the hay

He Loved Being up There
It took 4.5 years, but Owen went down the huge slides by himself and LOVED it
Aiden went right down...
and twisted
Turned
And ended up backwards and kept going back for more
I got to have fun going down too

Then we climbed on the hay ride and got dropped out with a saw to cut down our tree. I saw the one I wanted from the wagon and fell in love with it. Omer cut the tree down with a hand saw
The boys played
Then I took the boys for a walk.
They enjoyed walking through the hay
Tree Cut! Omer Tired!
Back on the wagon with our tree
Owen was helpful with putting on the lights
Was very excited to hang a couple ornaments and then decided to go play with Aiden who could have cared less about decorating
Owen talked a lot about putting the star on top.

  2. Love the picture of Aiden twisting and turning down the slide. Your face on the slide was great. Love that Owen put the star on. And Go Omer cutting down that tree.
