First Pumpkin Patch

For the past week Owen has continually talked about going to a pumpkin patch. We pass by the small ones in the grocery store lots and he excitedly screams, "Pumpkin patch! Stop! Pumpkin patch!" We had plans on heading to Leesburg Animal Park's Pumpkinville today but with Omer sick, Aiden's runny nose and Owen woke with a little cough we felt it better to just do a small one. Owen was not about to wait another day until he got to go to a pumpkin patch. We chose to try out Meadow Farms Nursery. They have an area with lots of hay, pumpkins, a tunnel, some slides, a decorated spooky bus, and lots of fun decor. If you are looking for a quick and free pumpkin fun, I would suggest Meadow Farms. It was a great time.

Before we left, Owen had Daddy make lots of play-doh pumpkins which him and I played with. He set up an area on his road rug as the pumpkin patch and then our people carried them to the train. It was cute.

He dove onto these pumpkins.

His favorite was the gourds.

Don't be fooled he was pretty hestitant to go through it.

I of course wanted to get a picture of the boys in front of the pumpkins, but sadly they were not interested. Owen sat for a couple pictures while Aiden decided to explore the pumpkins, which meant Owen continually wanted to see what Aiden was doing. We never got a shot. But I am determined to get one before Halloween is done. Next week!
