Pumpkinville

In the past couple years we have always gone to Cox Farms for Pumpkinville, but as it is always crowded and a lot of the stuff Owen is not interested in doing we thought we'd try a different one. We headed over to Leesburg Animal Park's Pumpkinville, and really enjoyed it. Owen was in heaven, with animals to pet, bouncy gyms, pumpkins, hay stacks and grass to run in. Aiden surprisingly enjoyed the animals too. Look at his face in the picture that I am petting the big brown hairy cow. He also did great just hanging in the stroller watching everything, but I think the hit for both boys was the bug discovery tent. We had to promise Owen that we'd play in the bug tent at the end, and he remembered. He'd ask every so often. As for Aiden he enjoyed being able to crawl around and explore things along with the tunnel. We tried to get a family photo at the very end and used the timer setting and only had one chance. Not our best picture but cute.

The things Owen wanted to talk about the most was how he snuggled the sheep and how the mama goat was protecting her babies. In the petting zoo area, there was a mama goat and two babies and Owen was petting one of her babies and she came over a rammed her horns in his direction. We of course had to explain what happened.
