Snow Weekend

I am just going to lump the whole weekend together. In a nutshell we really enjoyed all the snow. I love snow and this year Owen enjoyed it much more and was so excited when he saw it through the window. Aiden as well was very curious about the new white stuff and seemed to enjoy it until I put the super puffy coat on. On top of it, we got our tree and decorated it. I only wish that we had a sled, I think the boys would have loved to go sledding, next time. So here begins the millions of pictures (sad to say the camera has reached it's must get fixed ASAP point so a lot of moments were missed or too fuzzy to see).

"Look it's Snowing!"

Watching the Snow

So Exciting...for Everyone
Running out to Play
Catching Snowflakes
Snow Boy
Chloe absolutely loves the snow.
Chester enjoys it for a little.
Wintery Scene
Snow Smiles
I did not prompt this, so I really thought it was cute that witnin minutes of being outside he wanted to catch snowflakes with his tongue.
Snowflake Catching
He figured out pretty quickly to keep his eyes closed.
After Aiden woke from nap he watched from the door.
Trying to figure out how to take a step.
I want to play!

Then, yes we went out to get our Christmas tree. It went well but we chose very quickly. Owen got to see the Grinch (his new favorite), Mickey and a snowman. He also got to see Santa who he enjoyed briefly chatting with and told him he wanted the Mickey candy canes instead of the peppermint one Santa handed him. HeeHee
While I was away at a baby shower the boys played race for the first time with Omer. He said they would go back and forth, both laughing and having a blast.
After naps and my return we put the tree up.
Then Owen really wanted to eat some more snow but did not want to go outside. I forgot to mention that this morning he was chowing down on the snow, even eating it as it fell on Chloe (yes, you can cringe). To meet his fix Omer got him a bucket full of snow.
He told us it tasted like chocolate. Hilarious!
We all went out to play in the snow some. This was Aiden's first time.
Snow Baby
Taking a Taste of Snow
Both Boys Eating Snow
Snow Smiles (like how the snowflake is over his eye)
Watching the Snow Fall
Owen telling Aiden about snowballs.
Wintery Scene
Tried again to get a picture of them in the snow, but Owen did not want to sit and then they both would not smile.
I know a lot already, but then we decorated the tree.
Owen liked putting them on the tree, but after about the fifth one he was done.
Like Mother, Like Son
Owen was excited to see the ones he "made" and also the one of his baby picture in the frame. He also told Aiden that we need to get a baby picture of him for the ornament. How Sweet!
Aiden Enjoyed Looking Through the Box
Chewing on Lights (don't worry we took them away)
After I put the boys down I came in to my room to find sweet Chloe watching the snow from the window. We were both sad that we did not get to hike on the first snow of the year, one of favorites for both of us.
Last night Owen was playing with Duck the train and told him all about the snow. When he woke up this morning he announced we must take Duck out to play in the snow. Of course I obliged and Duck had a good time.
The puppies playing.
Guess what, Owen ate more snow!
After lunch I took both boys out. Poor Aiden was not pleased with all the puffy clothes he had on.
Aiden watching Owen "work the snow"
Boys Playing
And yes more snow eating.
Chilling in the Snow
Handsome Chester
"Playing" with the Decorations
Bundled Baby
Owen Working Hard
Aiden finally tried to crawl in the snow, he was not a fan.
He made it to some grass
Snowy Owen
We had a lot of fun running around crunching snow.
Snow Covered Gloves
First Snow was a ton of fun!

  2. This seems like the prefect, pre-Christmas weekend. Very cute pictures, and there is no such thing as too many pictures of the adorable babies.
