Feel the Love

All a mother every wants is to feel appreciated and be loved by her children. I often think the children take me for granted sometimes as I am always here. And after doing two days solo I chose to have a nice balance of relaxation and alone time and play time with he family. It was a wonderful Mothers Day and I did feel much appreciate and much loved.

Started my day off with staying in bed and slowly getting up while the boys picked up donuts for breakfast. Yum! Then did a couple things, played and then headed over to Omer's mom's house. Then home again where after lunch I sat, watched TV and did some stuff. Then while Aiden napped Owen and I curled up on the bed and watch George 2 and I dozed off for a 15 minute nap (perfect) and at one moment while Owen snuggled me he just turned over and told me, "I love you Mommy." (melted) Then some snuggles from both Aiden and Owen at the same time. Then I got to run during the day (usually do after boys are in bed) and then straight to a hike with a friend and the pups. Then back home where I was welcomed with many smiles and hugs, the boys missed me. We all had fun playing and then Aiden started the massive slobbery kiss fest. Aiden will kiss on cue now and loves to do it, which of course meant Owen joined in. I ended the night with a quiet dinner with my husband that I didn't have to make. Like I said i felt very loved.

Then Owen started to try to lick me, in a funny loving way. But Yuck!
