Pickle and Nickle
Owen LOVES frogs, well actually any reptile and amphibian. At the pet store we got two water frogs which the guy told me could live in our current fish tank. Owen was excited and named them pickle and nickle. Once in the tank they hid and Owen was not happy and then they died. So while at the Big Bug Show the other day we picked up one of those Frog Ecosystem's. They are still Pickle and Nickle and Owen loves watching them and feeding them. They started in his room (by request) but we have moved them to the play room area so they can be seen more. They sit next to Rainbow the fish. They are friends, Owen says.

Maybe Owen will be a zoologist? I hope he keeps his love for animals :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy them! We actually just lost one of ours over the weekend. I know they're social, so not sure how long the other one will last - but we're not going to get a replacement.
