Snow, Finally

The boys and I have been waiting for snow for months now. However the weather has been quite warm for this time of year. We have been enjoying the warm weather but all still really want to play in the snow.
We had no idea that it was going to snow today, but we were so excited. It was so little but we would take anything at this moment. Owen even squealed," My wish came true. It snowed!"
Within minutes of the first flakes falling we were in snow gear and outside running around while the snow fell on us. Of course the boys kept trying to catch the snowflakes on their tongues and hands.
It stopped in about 20 minutes, but we were surprised that hours later it started to snow even more. Still not much to brag about but enough to play in and have a snowball fight. We had a playdate in the afternoon, but when we got home the boys rushed outside and played in the snowy dark. It was a blast.
Now the boys (and well me too) expect to get some "real" snow so we can go sledding and build a snowman.
They ran to the window to watch the snow fall

The boys wanted to push around the carts in the snow. Owen ran inside to get his teddy bear to take him on a ride.

Aiden pushed his stroller really fast in the snow and was really proud of his tracks.
Owen went to go lick the snow off the playground binoculars. "This is where it is clean!"
