I have tried my hardest to not have gun play in the house, but something you find out when you have boys that it is genetic. They will find something to make a gun; finger, stick, bat, etc. We still don't have any weapons in the house, but the reality is they are boys and they love weapons.
This evening while playing Bionicles, Owen asked Omer if he could build a gun. Of course Omer did happily, but Owen wanted one that could shoot the Bionicle bullets. So Omer altered the gun with a double shooter. Owen was super excited.
I thought it would be fun to draw a target for him to shoot at. He loved it and was really into shooting that paper. Then he asked Omer to take a cup with some string to hold his bullets. Very creative. Both Omer and I were shocked with how natural Owen's shooting form was.

Grandma thinks he looks VERY scary! He probably picked up his professional stance from watching Bionical videos! Too cute. When I told Larry about your post, he nodded knowingly!
