Little Fishes

This summer we have spent a huge amount of time at the pool; almost every day. The boys love it and so do I, perfect way to spend a hot afternoon. The best part this year is Owen is completely comfortable in the pool and has become a better swimmer so he usually is off with friends swimming, diving and jumping. He has taken 8 swim lessons so far and I am impressed with his improved skills. He used to just swim underwater and attempt a dog paddle, but now he is trying to do the front crawl and I think he is doing pretty well.

Aiden has made leaps and bounds through the summer. At first he just wanted to jump off the side and "swim" around while I held him. Then he started to walk around the pool swimming his arms and while being held swimming underwater. Now he has started to "swim all by myself". He is beyond proud of himself and of course so are we. He tells everyone to watch him "swim all by myself". He puts his face all the way in, kicks those little legs and dog paddles his arms. He will do this over and over. We are impressed by both our little fish.
